I was born into an artistic, entrepreneurial family, so my life has been filled with expressing my passions and talents in many different arenas.
As many of you know, I am the daughter of Aleene Jackson, America’s beloved “Mother of Crafting” and inventor of Aleene’s Tacky Glue, so my world has always been about expressing myself creatively. I launched the Cool2Craft creative community in 2009 which features the popular YouTube channel. In the 1990’s, I was the producer/host of over 2,000 episodes of Aleene’s Creative Living Television show and editor of the Aleene’s Creative Living Magazine. At that time, I also made regular appearances on QVC and HSN and my most recent craft book was published in November 2014. My extensive consulting experience covered all facets of the craft industry including design, product development, manufacturing, retail, publishing, packaging, consumer education, video production, TV production and more.
My interest in health, wellness and spirituality started back in the 1980’s when my sister Candace was visiting from the East Coast and introduced me to crystals. From there, my studies took me on a path of wellness in body, mind and spirit. Each new day brings broader awareness and I enjoy sharing ideas to help others to bring balance, well-being, happiness and joy to their lives.
In early 2016, I moved to the Weekend Farmgirl ranch where I spent my weekends working the ranch and tending to my ranch animals. Ranch life was rich with stories which I have shared on my blog.
In early 2018, I moved back closer to the LA area to work more closely with my beloved non-profit www.hihopeskids.org and launch HiHopes Farm and to help my brother launch his newest business www.besorat.com.
I have the good fortune at this time in my career(s) to get back into sharing my passion for natural wellness and have become a doTERRA Wellness Advocate under the guidance of my dear friend of 20+ years, Julianna Hudgins. “Jewels” and I are building new ways to reach out to our local communities to share how to incorporate essential oils, yoga, meditation and creativity to explore, share and teach others how to take control of their wellness decisions. We look forward to reaching out to you through our new biz SoulCreative/CreativeSoul.
“my life” is a collage of my daily life experiences.
