Nature is gifting us with beautiful treasures at Lockwood’s Ranch. Although I’m still trying to figure out the growing season here, my fig tree has decided to put lots of energy into producing its beautiful purple fruit. Since I’m only at the ranch on weekends, my first stop is to check out my little fig tree and this last weekend I found these 3 figs ready for picking.
I left them on the picnic table to take care of some other tasks, and my grand-niece Savannah walked by and captured this beautiful contrast in color.
It didn’t take long before our plentiful resident ant colonies decided that I must have certainly left them there for their enjoyment so I never had the chance to taste these yummies.
I am so grateful that Savannah captured this moment to remind us of all of God’s gifts.
